For once I actually have something useful to report. First and foremost, I would like to formally address the brand new layout for
64 Upload! The system is a lot cleaner, the look is slicker and I've been fixing some transfer bugs over the last few weeks. Uploading SWF files and linking to old SWF files were issues, but I managed to fix those. If you tried linking to an old Flash file before tonight and it came up as a 404, it's fixed now. I've also added 64 Upload to my Websites page.
I would also like to advertise
PlayRealm once again. It's chock full of neat stuff and updated gaming reviews and what not. I'm a writer on it, so this is a little biased, but screw you it's my site and I can do whatever I want. We recorded a podcast yesterday and the link should be up in a day or so. I'll post and update when it's up.
Oh and yes, I did add the forums. Though no one seems to be using them, it was a pretty good test to build from scratch. I'd put it in my Doodles, but it has its own page and everything, so whatever.
Update:

So this site kinda sorta sucks and is getting little to no activity. I'm going to research phpBB3 boards and see if I can get one that matches the format of this site. It would probably only consist of two boards, because forums with a lot of categories are lame. This is a short post, so I might update it with any details.

Wow it's been a while since my last post. There hasn't been much I've been up to recently. However, second semester has started which marks that I have less than 18 weeks left of high school! Pretty chill. Not much I've been up to web-wise, other than learning some Python. I have been accepted to Cal Poly Pomona, which is a
huge relief for me. Now all I have to worry about is financial aid, but I'm pretty confident I'll get at least something.
The only thing I've been doing the past couple of weeks is posting articles on
PlayRealm, a video game blog maintained by an old friend of mine. You can see all my articles by clicking that link. Other than that, there isn't much else to share. Until next time!

As college acceptance time is coming around, the updates on the site may not be too far away. School has been my major drawback for a while. Well luckily I've so far been accepted to CSU Monterey Bay and CSU Fullerton. I'm shooting for Cal Poly Pomona, but at least I now have back ups. Indie Cave is still on hold too, unfortunately.
I do wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and an early merry Christmas, since I probably won't update for another year or so again. Once summer comes around and I start college, Indie Cave will become my main project once again. So wish me luck on college admissions; I have to go back to updating my Facebook status now. Ciao.

It's been a while since my last post, but there hasn't been much to report until now. I'm finally getting my website page up, so go ahead and check it out. I only have one up, but that's the hard part. I'll try to set it up to run from a database tonight; currently it's a static page.
In other news, school hasn't been getting any easier for me. Though the pressure for applying to colleges seems to be lowering a bit. I got my SATs back and I've applied to two colleges so far. Once Nov. 1 hits, I plan on applying to my other two.
My top issue is the lack of money. I'm seriously almost in debt because I can't get any clients. Well, I have one but he hasn't paid me yet, which is really lame. Anyway, heads up because if any of my sites go down, then you know why. If you need a website for any reason and are willing to pay, please contact me. I think I'll make a bumper sticker that reads, "Will design for food." But anyway, time to get back to work.

My top priority has moved to getting into college, as surprising as it may seem. College applications are due in November and the sooner I get started on them, the better. When this comes along, I need to get this site in tip-top shape for whoever needs to see it in order for it to benefit me at all. This brings me to my next topic.
I will be slightly modifying the layout of this website to allow more dynamic content, formatting and sections to be implemented into the site. I'm having some server bugs right now regarding my domain server, but that should be fixed by tomorrow. Indie Cave has been worked on a little bit, but is still down on page six of my to-do list.
New sections I will be adding to this site include software expertise, Flash, references and doodles. Doodles not being in the traditional sense like the ones I make on my math tests when I finish early, but rather my personal term for small Flash and PHP gizmos and gadgets I made in my spare time. Although they usually serve no purpose, they may be somewhat interesting to look at. But redesign first, then doodles.

I've put aside the Indie Cave project for now just until I can get a grip on school. College application deadlines aren't too far away. I also have the SAT, scholarship information and a whole lot of other important stuff that I have no idea of. Once I can get past the pressure I will start back on it.
However, not all is glum. I might actually be getting some client work soon and be able to buy something, like gas and food. It's been a while before I've been able to make a website for another company. Though, some good did come out of it. I've greatly improved my PHP skills overtime, and have gotten pretty good at AJAX, as you can tell from this site. With any luck, I can start reaping in the cash.
Oh also, I've added the contact page. It still uses AJAX and everything, and I quite like it. I thought that if I were asking for client work it might be helpful if I had some way to be contacted.

It's been a couple weeks since this new site went up, and I still like it. If you haven't noticed already, the background color changes every hour. Afternoons and very early mornings will be red and yellowish, while around dusk and dawn will be more blueish.
This school year is tough, but manageable. I've got guitar and economics, which are my two favorite classes. I'm also taking AP calculus BC (in nightmare mode) and a lab aid position for Smo, the best physics teacher in the west. I've really got to start looking at college applications though. I'm betting on Cal State Fullerton. They've got everything I need and a really good software engineering department.
Also, if you are in need of a website and are willing to pay, I'd be more than happy to discuss it with you. I really need work, so a job would be a big help. Just something to consider; I know a variety of front-end development languages, so I can code almost anything online.

So today was the first day of my last year of high school. I'm glad to get it started, I was going out of my mind this summer with all the shit I had to do. At least now I have projects that matter. Unfortunately, school means time away from the computer. Therefore, updates may be a bit slower over the next... well, eight months.
I will be adding more to this site for college reasons. My portfolio is more important than Indie Cave right now, so this goes first. I will hopefully have my website list up by the end of the week. Then expertise, Flash, so on. If you're one of my teachers that were directed to this site, I hope you can learn a bit more about me away from the general student body and as more of an individual. As you can see, I try to be as creative and productive as possible. You'll be sure to see that more once you see what I've been doing over the last six years or so.

Hey thanks for visiting my site. Flip around the pages to know all about me. If you want the gist, I'm a kid named William Thomas from southern California who has spent more time in front of a computer screen than standing up. I know five, going on six coding languages and have experience with several widely-used design applications. También he tomado tres años de transcursos en Español.
This site is my online portfolio, displaying all of the things I have made between the dawn of my technological know-how and today! Older stuff ranges on Flash while newer stuff includes websites. You can also check out my academic records (and if it applies to you, you'll be happy to note that they are, in fact, not made-up).
This website implements PHP, MySQL and Ajax functions. If your browser does not support it, stop being lazy and update already! I did my best to keep it informational, as well as sexy. If you have questions, comments, or free money, feel free to contact me using the handy-dandy contact page. Everything on this site including the artwork was all made by me. Also, if you do decide to contact me, please don't comment on my pattern to repetitively use the number 64.
